Requirements for high-voltage cables for new energy vehicle wiring harnesses
1. Voltage: The main difference from commonly used automobile cables is that the frame needs to be designed according to the rated voltage of 600V, while if applied in commercial automobiles and buses, the rated voltage can reach 1000V. Compared with the possible higher voltage limit. Cables now used in cars driven by internal combustion engines are designed to have a rated voltage of 60V.
2. Temperature: In addition to the higher temperature in the vehicle, it is sent to the cabin or high temperature cabin, and the remaining cables that are often used can withstand temperatures reaching 105 ℃, however, the high-voltage cables used for new energy sources are usually higher than normal values such as 125 ℃ or 150 ℃. Different places have different requirements for cables.
3. Working life
the recognized cable standard is 3000h, which is often used in long-term aging tests. There will be special requirements in the field of high pressure, which may exceed 3000 h, and the cumulative operation time at the specified temperature may even reach 12000 h.
4. Safety identification:
high voltage will bring certain risks to users. High voltage cables should be visually distinguished from ordinary cables, and safety warning signs should be printed at the same time.
